Phase 1 Magazine Concrete Repair Aboard Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach SUBCONTRACTOR- Quality Rebar, Rebar scanning, Hazardous Waste, Asbesto Testing SUPPLIER- Misc. Metals, Epoxy ANchors, Epoxy adhesives, Repair Morta, Curing Compound, Splicing Rebar, Temp Fence Project Scope: This Design-Bid-Build construction project entails the repair of cracked and spalled concrete across nine (9) missile magazine structures aboard Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach Detachment Fallbrook, Fallbrook, CA. Repair by epoxy-injection and hand-troweled patching will performed. Five (5) magazines show hairline cracks and leaking on the ceilings and walls. Four (4) magazines will require repair to the exterior, which will involve chipping loose concrete, cleaning corroded reinforcing bars, and patching with portland cement-based material. Repaired surface to be flushed and smooth to match adjacent concrete. Assistance will be available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, supplies,materials or related technical assistance. By submitting a proposal, Respondent/Bidder acknowledges that they have performed a thorough review of the terms and conditions contained in our standard subcontract/purchase order (Contract). Respondent/Bidder quotes, including terms and conditions contained therein, will not be included in subcontracts/purchase orders issued for the project. Respondent/Bidder shall submit, in writing with their proposal/quote, any exceptions to the RCI Contract terms and conditions. * Any large busineses selected for a contract over $650,000 will have to submit a small business subcontracting plan Note: RCI may disqualify and reject the respondent s proposal/bid based on the exceptions submitted.
