REQUEST FOR BIDS TO PERFORM DBE SUBCONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES AND/OR DBE MATERIAL SUPPLIER SERVICES 2H Construction is requesting bids for the following project: Orange County Transportation Authority IFB 4-2097 Construction of Transit Security and Operations Center This project consists of new approx. 3 acres site - new two-story 29,050 square feet building - occupancy B (28,000 sf) and occupancy A-3 (1950 sf)- construction type IIB - fully sprinklered - new roof-mounted microwave tower- new seven (7) parking canopies- new electric vehicle charging stations- new site work - new gates, new light poles, new trash enclosure, new parking for employees, patrol vehicles, and visitors. - distributed antenna system (DAS) the proposed building aims to comply with the essential services buildings seismic safety act (ESBSSA) for structural requirements. The closing date and time for prime bid proposals to the owner is 11:00 AM on June 17th, 2024. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for free via the OCTA website https://cammnet.octa.net Alternatively 2H Construction has made the Plans, specifications, and contract documents available via onedrive https://1drv.ms/f/s!AnVbUWFlHrbFhrQGppImBa3ZNQ9Wbg?e=dgmOYn Subcontractors must comply with general prevailing rates (PCC.1720 et seq.) and shall be registered with the DIR.CA.gov prior to submitting a bid (Labor Code 1725.5) Each BIDDER shall be a licensed contractor in the classification as required for the work to be performed at the time of bid submission and must maintain the licenses throughout the duration of the project. If requested 2H Construction will reimburse subcontractors up to 2% for payment and performance bonds. No bid bond is required for subcontractors.
