General work description: The work to be done at PM 13.66 to 13.68 consists of traffic control system, constructing detour, excavation and installation of drainage blanket, installation of geosynthetic reinforced embankment, constructing underdrain and surface drainage system, rebuilding the roadway and erosion control items. The work to be done at PM 16.15 consists of constructing a detour, excavating for box culvert, installing a pre-cast box culvert with cast-in-place parapet and wingwalls, backfilling the box culvert, installing cable rails and rebuilding the roadway. Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Pipe supplier, Construction area signs, Traffic flagger, Temporary railing (type k), Clearing & grubbing, Structure backfill, Hydroseeding, Erosion control, Temporary erosion control, Aggregate base (ab), Concrete pumping, Asphalt concrete, Place asphalt concrete dike & misc, Reinforcing steel, Filter fabric, Permeable material, Plastic pipe, Corrugated steel pipe inlet & riser, Thermoplastic traffic striping & marking, Swppp planning, Trucker The DBE Contract goal is 9 percent.
